Inks Lake is in the Highland Lakes chain which includes Lake Buchanan, Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Travis, and Lake Austin. Inks Lake is 802 acres, 4.2 miles long, and is 3000 feet at it's widest point. Inks Lake is a constant level lake. Inks Lake State Park has mini cabins, outstanding lake front campsites, and very good hiking trails.

Inks Lake is part of the highland lakes of Central Texas. Inks Lake is part of the Texas Hill Country. When you think of Inks Lake, think of pink granite and bluebonnets in spring. This lake is the perfect alternative to the stress filled lifestyle of Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.  Lake living is slow and easy. 

Inks Lake is the perfect place for year round fun. Spring wildflowers bloom from early March until June and are absolutely beautiful. During fall and early winter Inks Lake has some of the best weather in the country. Winter Texans love the mild winter climate and come back year after year.

Inks Lake is clean and pure. Dive into some of the nicest water in Texas. Fish from a dock or from your boat. The fishing is great! You can launch your boat from the state park. If you don't have a boat, you can rent one locally. Boat on over to the Catfish Barge for a great lunch or dinner on the lake.

Inks Lake is a "constant level" lake which provides the best in year round boating, swimming and water sports. Constant level means you always know just how high the water is going to be!
